suggestion: please make the app know the difference between a double-tap (to zoom in on the map) and a single tap on a pin (to view a listing). after a search, i get a zoomed-out view with many pins in a small cluster. that’s fine, but when i double-tap to zoom in, two things happen (instead of one): the map zooms in, but also the app shows me details on a pin. but i don’t need that, yet! i’m just zooming in. but then, i have to fumble around in an attempt to *dismiss* the info bubble that pops up, when all i’m trying to do is zoom in on a location!
do you have anyone testing these apps? it’s difficult to imagine this not being annoying to anyone using the app. i look forward to future improvements. 🙂
Comment by mark July 9, 2009 @ 6:56 pmOn my iPhone 3G (with a full battery) after opening NearBuy and performing several searches (near me, choose a pin, get details, chose to see details, then usually on a “Back” command the phone “goes into totally out of battery shutdown.” I have to do a hard reboot and recharge the battery to get it going again. If it didn’t fail almost every time I use it I would LOVE it. I am in a house hunting mode and would be a great tool without the bug. Any ideas?
